Hi,

My name is Carlene and I am the Senior Supervisor at Sunset Daycare. Ever since I was a small child I wanted to work with children. I started working with children as soon as I could babysit. After high school, I continued my education in Early Childhood Education at Kwantlen College University in 2002 and then continued my schooling in 2016 to complete both Inclusive Practices and Infant/Toddler Diplomas at Burnaby Community & Continuing Education.

I have worked in daycares, preschools, out of school care, worked as a live out nanny and was given the opportunity to work on a cruise ship for 5 years (traveling the world, working with children of all ages and cultures). When I am not working you will find me enjoying time with my family and friends, going for walks and baking.
