Thank you to the City of Vancouver for their ongoing support and funding. The funding we receive from the City of Vancouver has made our wonderful hot lunch program possible.

Lydia Albert Fund for field trips

Thank you to the Lydia Albert Fund and West Coast Child Care Resource Centre for allowing us to take the children on fields trips throughout the year.
Without the support of the Lydia Albert Fund we would not be able to experience some of these trips. The families and staff at Sunset are very grateful that we are able to offer these memorable learning experiences for our children.

Community Gaming Grant

Thank you to the BC Government Community Gaming Grant for providing with extra funding for staff and program development.

DONATIONS

Donations to Sunset Childcare Society are always welcome – and your support empowers children to learn, experience and connect with their peers better. Donations are used to support our work with children and their families, and to keep our program low-cost.

  • Donations of $10 – $100 enable us to buy educational and training materials and art supplies and toys.
  • Donations over $100 support core programming (e.g. organizing more field trips for a first-hand experience), help keep programs at low-cost, and sustain our equipment and facilities.
  • Donations over $1,000, if so specified, are dedicated to further our work in perpetuity.
  • Consider giving a monthly donation to Sunset!  This is easy to set up and makes a huge difference in our ability to work with and support our children.

Any and all donations are tremendously appreciated, and you will receive a tax receipt for all donations over $10.
