3 staff to run Daycare (16 kids max – depending on needs of IC)

Scenario	Delay Start	Close Early	No Lunch
A	Open @ 8:30	Close @ 4pm	If no Chef, then parents to bring in child’s lunch
B	Open @ 9am	Close @ 4pm	If no Chef, then parents to bring in child’s lunch
C	Open @ 10am	Close @ 5pm	If no Chef, then parents to bring in child’s lunch
D	Open @ 11am	Close @ 5pm	If no Chef, then parents to bring in child’s lunch

If all staff can get here safely either by driving themselves or taking transit, then we will open. If VSB is closed, then we will close. If VSB is closed on Winter Break, then staff and board to make decision. 

If staff do not feel comfortable driving or transiting to the daycare then they will inform the daycare that they are not coming in.

The Supervisor & Board will get up at 5:30am to check road conditions, traffic cameras, VSB Website and discuss. Supervisor will connect with the staff to talk about what scenarios we could potentially follow and how many staff are able to make it in that day. The decision will be posted on SLACK by 6:30am/7am that day. 

 **What will be posted on SLACK for families**

Due to unsafe road conditions and inclement weather, we are unable to fully staff the daycare. If possible, please keep your child at home. As per licensing we can only accept (#) children with the staffing that are able to make it in. As per our parent board’s decision accepted families will be on a first come, first serve basis
