Sunset Child Care Society (SCCS) will close in the event of extreme snowfall or other inclement weather and if either Vancouver School Board or Langara College have closed for these reasons.

If public schools have a professional development day or are on a winter break, please refer to Langara College’s website or news stations.

Sunset Daycare will post a notification on this website and our Facebook page and update the voicemail greeting in the event of a snow closure by 6:30 a.m. on the day of closure.

Public school closures will be announced on the following media outlets:

• Fairchild radio (1470 AM)
• Global TV
• City TV’s Breakfast Television
• CBC television
